she gathered herself closer to him, but stayed far enough away, that if she had to she could run. She still was weary of the snake. "Why at sun set?" she asked curiously as she faced the long grass awaiting the sun set.

"Becausse the Nacturnalss come out at Twilight." Slipping silently through the grass, Sinent gently pawed a slow moving snail to the side so he didn't get stepped on by either of them. "The next thing you need to know iss how to find edable plantss and .... berriess. Assuming you don't eat meat of coursse."

Eying you move the snail to the said, cocking her head slightly, "Well if your hunting... How come you don't eat the snail? Or is that a snake thing as well?" she half smiled before noding, "So we will eat berries and plants? I like Berries, expecially the sweet ones..." She paused looking down at her feet.
It was awkward for her to be around people let alone open up and talk to them. Yet here she was trying to learn how to hunt with this stranger. She half smiled once more before catching up with him

(lets just pretend he's stressing his 's's xD)
"We don't eat snails because they aren't good tasting. Although if you were hungry enough, I suppose you could eat some." Chuckling slightly, Sinent let his eyes wonder around their surroundings, trying to pick up any hint of a berry bush or a wild radish. "I've found out that a lot of Ulaya prefer ripe sweet berries over those that aren't." Quietly flicking his tongue out to test the air, the snake hybrid hopped over the log that had appeared from behind some of the tall grass. Waiting quietly for Saeraphena to join him once again, Sinent yawned as he sat enjoying the sunlight.
Being part snake gave you the inate sense of love towards the sun and anything warm, because without it he was cold otherwise. Scratching an itch at the back of his head, the forest green male flicked his ears trying to pick up on any noise that might spell out a problem for them. So far nothing had appeared dangerous, but in the tall grass anything could happen.

She listened to his words about snails and taste, yet her attention was now drawn away to her dirty paws. Oh if her mother was around and saw how filthy she was... but this was besides all point now, she looked up at the sound of Ripe Sweet Berries, remembering that the reason she was even out was the fact that she needed to find food. Rubbing her tummy gently for a moment before shaking her head and jumping atop the log looking down at her new found friend, before squinting her eyes looking up at the hot sun.
" Do Berries prefer the sun or shade?" she asked before slinking down the log, laying low to the ground, her ears lay flat as she eyes the snake.

"It depends on the type of berry, though most bushes like the sun. Strawberries like the sun while Elderberries like the shade, but today I think we'll look for the berries that prefer light." Smiling at Saera as she joined him on Terra firma, Sinent began his walk again, quietly moving aside the tall stalks of grass. It was a short walk before the trio finally got to the edge of the field, and as they emurged into the unshielded light, Sinent was able to pick up the scent of a berry bush. It so happened that the long grass hampered his sense of smell a small bit, which was highly unusual.
Grinning slightly as he lopped silently over the the tree line that housed the berries, Sinent felt Seris rearrange herself around his neck. "Miss Saeraphena, here, this is going to be your second lesson." Pointing causually at the berry bushes to his right and left, the snake hybrid let no sign of wariness pass over his form. A new scent mingled in the air that he didn't trust quite yet, but it wasn't close enough to worry the lady he was with. Although if things did get nasty, he'd go out of his way to protect her... it was the duty of a gentleman to do so.
