Lets see... I'm kinda new myself, but I figure that I may be able to help a bit. If you want your questions answered, there is a subforum for it. That, and the Where to Post Your RP Announcement thread will help you even further. 3nodding

Yeah, too bad your grammer is atrocious and you fail to capitalize in all the proper spaces. I will teach you how to RP to the best of my abilities for a nominal fee of zero (thought I was going to charge you, didn't you?) gold. Its the best I can offer. I am a very sharp crtitic and will not treat you like a baby, but I will do my best to teach you, that I can promise. So PM me if you are interested. I will show you how to display emotions, how to make a decent profile and how to make a proper post, one that is not repetitive and boring and do it all for free. Just contact me and I will help as much as I can.

The best advice I can give you is to look around the RP threads and find a writing/storytelling style you particularly like. Then, ask that person if they'll give you a few tips on how to best improve your skills. Get a tutor whose work you like, since they can at best only teach you how to do it their way.

The absolute best tutor is practice, and the absolute best (solo) practice is writing fiction. Someone can tell you how to do things, but the best way to master anything is to do it repeatedly, and with fiction you don't need to wait for others to respond.

Practice regimen:
Collect advice on a skill you would like to learn or improve.
Write fiction at your own pace, trying to keep in mind the advice you received.
Proofread your fiction, comparing it with said advice.
If you feel you are unable to proofread your own fiction, ask someone to look over it for you keeping in mind only the thing you're working on.
Repeat!

Note that writing fiction isn't necessarily going on for pages upon pages of words and plot development. A single paragraph can qualify, though a sentence might just be defeating the purpose.

I've never been one for writing fiction myself, but if you're good at it, it can definitely help. In fact, the most primary thing is to learn to write, period. Understanding what sentence structure is, how to spell (or use a spell checker), how to use adjectives, all of that stuff is vital. You can't RP unless you can write in the first place. To that extent, my best suggestion is pay attention in school (*Gasp!*). Whenever anything about essays comes up, ask questions, pay attention. It will help you more than any internet tutor will.

The other half, of course, is learning what to write once you know HOW to write. Of course, if you know how to write, that comes much easier, so focus on the basics for now.
