Rhianna walked quietly down the darkened streets of Forks. She loved walking at night; it always helped her think and calm down. If her aunt found out she was gone, there would be hell to pay.... but this was worth the risk. She hadn’t thought she would like Forks...but after a few months she had grown to love it…and it’s unique creatures. Her aunt may have tried to make her forget her heritage but that was never going to happen, she loved to be a hunter. And she always would be. “What a beautiful night.” She said gazing up at the harvest moon. She had been walking for hours now, and she hoped she would be able to sleep for a couple of hours before school, turning the corner onto “Oak Ave.” she headed toward her aunts house. She still couldn’t see the house as her home; she wasn’t even wanted there…so how could it be home? She continued to ponder these questions until she reached the front door. Holding her breath she silently opened the door… peering into the living room, she let out her breath. Her aunt was still asleep; she had gotten away with it this time. She crept up the stairs to the bathroom and got ready to sleep. Turing off the water she padded down the hall to her minuscule room and curled up beneath the covers. As she closed her eyes she heard the birds begin to warble…4:00 that gave her three hours of sleep before she had to get up and ready for school…”Plenty of time.” She thought as she over came her insomnia and drifted into the black ocean of sleep.

Life and Death...I'll choose the night. With a small sigh, Robin ran her fingers through her hair. Artemis was coiled around her wrist, tongue sliding in and out slowly and leisurely. Tasting the air for his owner, sensing for anything unusual. There was nothing, which Robin was greatful for. She was afraid lately, the air was thick with strangers besides herself. Flicka was asleep in a nest some where, so her personal little alarm wasn't besides her to warn and ward off. With a sigh, Artemis slid from around her wrist as Robin shifted into her grey wolf, flashy tail and all. A soft snort came from her, and she went to prowl the streets, looking threw windows. Unfortunatly, the first window she looked into had Rhianna in there sleeping. Robin tilted her head, green eyes narrowed.

Rhianna woke from a dead sleep, feeling as though she was being watched. Silently she waited for her eyes to adjust to the darkness yet again. “So much for a few hours of sleep before school.” She thought grumpily to herself. She could see in the dark clearly now, reaching under her bed she felt around for her bow. She felt the soft leather and wrapped her fingers tightly around it. She sat up and scanned the room; glimpsing a grey wolf outside her window, she stood. This was no ordinary wolf…she could see that by the aura that surrounded the beast. Aiming at the window, “What is it you want?” She asked the wolf. She looked at the beautiful animal outside her window, and waited for a reply.

The majestic wolf tilted her head to the girl. The eyes were intelligent, and suddenly, standing in place of the wolf was a girl. Her face was soft, sadly so, but her eyes were bright and aware. She stared at the bow, then back to the girl. Flashes of fear and confusion filled her eyes, but she said nothing.

Rhianna watched as a young girl took the place of the wolf. The moon played in the girl’s long blonde hair making it seem as though her hair was strands of silver. Her eyes were clear and alert, wide mixed with fear and confusion. Rhianna waited for an answer, the girl stared at the brown leather bow she held in her hand. Slowly she lowered the bow, she didn’t think the girl meant any harm Just to be on the safe side she slipped an ancient sliver dagger, with a beautifully carved obsidian handle, into her waistband. She had learned over the years not to judge a book by its cover. Even if the girl seemed harmless one minute, didn’t mean she wouldn’t rip out Rhianna’s throat in the next.
Moving slow so she didn’t scare the girl she raised her hands up, showing the girl she meant no harm. Cautiously she took a small step forward, keeping her eyes on the girl. She took another step; the girl stood her ground, slowly Rhianna made her way across the darkened room to the window. Quietly, so as not to scare the girl, she lifted the window open and climbed out.
She stood in the backyard, moonlight dancing in her dark blonde hair. She watched the girl, who stood a few yards away. Concentrating and really focusing on the aura around the girl, she tried to see what she was. She could tell the girl was a shifter, and an old one at that, although a definite age eluded her. “Do you have a name girl?” She asked curiously. She waited for a reply, hoping she would get one.
