Emily walked into class with a smile. She loved stars, and she couldn't wait to further her study. She took a seat at the front of the class and drew out her book bag as she pulled her long red braid over her shoulder.

Madam Terez looked up from her papers and smiled at Emily as she took her seat. "Welcome."
She diped her quill in her ink and glanced up at the clock. She'd better wait a few more minutes before starting class. In case anyone else was comming.

"Thanks. What stars are we studying today. I know that there are 88 constellations in the night sky, and each star is part of a constellation, so unless we speed through it, we won't cover very many. Oh, and what part of the stars are we covering?"

R.J. walked into class, yawning and coughing. she had a cold and had been up until three clearing out old junk from her trunk that she had had since her first year.
she took her seat twords a back corner of the class and she rested her head on the desk until the rest of the class came in.

Emily looked back at R.J. and waved. She didn't know her, but she was glad that she wasn't the only student. She was getting a little worried since nobody had showed up quite yet.

R.J. was bewildered that Emily waved at her, since she had only seen her in the hallways at random times, but never the less, she returned the wave.
