Races
Human
This would be your run of the mill human. Such as Cid or Tifa.
Cetra
People who once lived on the planet, but are almost exstinct. This would be like Aeris or Ifalna.
Genetic Creation
These are people created in labs, like clones, or something infused with Jenova Cells.Like Sephiroth, who was infused with Jenova Cells while still in the womb. Or Vincent who was altered later in life.
Nanaki/Seto Creatures (sorry I dunno what they're called)
Just as rare as Cetra, these are hard to find warriors with flaming tails. Like Red 13.
Android/Cyborg
These can be people, they look and act just like you and I except they are all mechanical on the inside. There are different types of Androids, they could have been completly created ,with no soul, just a program. Or there's the kind that's kinda like a cyborg, where they were once human but could not live as a human and had to be mechanically changed. Kinda like Barret.
Esper
An ancient race even more ancient than the "ancients". They used to have their own world until it was raided by humans seeking their abilitys, these were the Magi. The poor Espers were turned into summons upon their deaths. Some can be found in the world, but are mostly arent full Espers. Upon this time no Magi exsist.
