I can't make a bass line for one of my own songs it has been killing me!

i learned that you gain the most experience of playing bass by playing some famouse lines/licks. you can learn alot from being a copy-er.

sometimes it's just best to play around. having no idea what the heck you're doing, just playing. i think it sounds really cool to play on the higher strings strumming both leaving one string open, and playing something nice on the other. i made a really nice song off of that. my band played it in a talent show, and we got 5th place, and we only practice/fixed it for only an hour or so.
