how often do people train their weaker side of their body, ie your non-writing hand side
my dad always told me the more you train the weaker side(left) the more the good side(right) improves. i never gave much thought to it so just trained both sides equaly has anyone found training left side more has advantages
when i say train i mean techniques, not weight training or plymetrics.

I train both sides equally. Sometimes I spend a little more time stretching/excersising my left side so it can preform as well as my right side.

I train both sides equally as well, but for me I guess it doesn't really make a difference, I'm ambidextrious. both sides are equally good in everything.

I'm right-handed, So when I started training in martial arts, I tended to do better with my right side. But I made the mistake of training my left side more then my right, So now kicks and jabs delivered from my left side feel more natural and are more powerful then those from my right side. I also went from an orthodox to a southpaw stance. So I would say that that saying may be true to an extent. You still have to train your other side, dominant or no.

Trained equally on both sides. But I have noticed that my balance is better on my left leg but my right side is stronged. But I'm pretty sure this was all do to a surgery I had on my knee ^-^;

im somehow best on my left side even though im right handed and i train them both equaly
