Gawyn loped towards the edge of the woods, the feeling of excitement over throwing his bone deep tiredness. He'd been walking so long, he'd not noticed the transition from youth to lanky adult. But finally, the feeling was telling him he was here, he was home.
Stopping before entering the trees, his eyes told him something else. The thick mist clinging between the branches, and the eerie sounds. But the feeling told him this was the place. There was something more for him here. This place was his purpose.
Still, he stood at the edge of the woods, waiting for some kind of sign, partially hoping that it would never come, and he'd never go into that mist. For some reason, he didn't see himself coming out again.
