Krista sat in quiet fuming, more than anything over her brother, and the fact that Lenore was with her twin. Picking up her glass of wine she took a sip of it looking down at her lap. Nope she was just going to listen then corner Lenore later.
Melantha looked around and when she knew her twin wasn't going to talk she cleared her throat looking to Lenore and Rinon "Yes I believe that what we should do, cause with you two knowing us it put you in danger. So we need to come up with a plan to keep this place safe." she glances to Lenore touching her hand "You'll going to need to set up new spells, and charms."

"I have always been in danger," Lenore says softly, before taking another drink of the rapidly-cooling blood. She doesn't move her hand away from Melantha, though she knows she is going to have hell to pay for whatever this is between them. She guesses that is just karma, remembering how she reacted to Krista's attraction to Rinon.
Rinon studies the women around him, unsure of how he can contribute. He ends up sipping at his wine thoughtfully.
Lenore, however, nods, as though she has just heard what Melantha has said. "I'll start that first thing in the morning, if Krista wants to help me, that is," she says, glancing over at her friend. She still cannot bring herself to look at her eyes, even if she cannot see them right now.
Rinon finally clears his throat. "I'll speak with some of the elves in the forest," he offers. "I am sure that there are some spells that they have not yet offered to the protection of this estate. . . ."
Lenore nods her agreeance, and both wait to see if Melantha and Krista have any more to contribute.

Melantha nods smiling squeezing Lenore's hand "I have a few friends who owe me some favors in the wizardary world. I'll see if I can get ahold of them and pull the favors in. With some help this place should be untouchable..." she looks to her sister not liking how quiet she gotten.
Krista looks up she face not readable at all as she nods "Yea I'll help you out Lenore, no problem with that." her voice cracked alittle as she looks to Rinon then Melantha before looking back down at her plate, for some reason she couldn't eat.

Lenore smiles, genuinely and warmly, at Melantha, despite her best efforts not to. She immediately slacks her facial muscles and returns to her placid face. "Thank you very much, Melantha," she says. "And you Rinon, and Krista. . . ." she says her friend's name softly. She wants to grab her friend, tear her from the room, and order her to let her have it. But, she knows that she cannot do that.
Instead, sensing the thick tension in the room and not being able to ignore it anymore, Rinon places a hand on his fiance's shoulder, and offers her a comforting smile.

Melantha smiles then leaning over she kisses Lenore's cheek. "Everything going to be alright. Nothing going to happen to this place. Your home will be safe.." she looks to her sister "I won't let anything happen to either one of you." she smiles then nods, a serious look crossing her face. She meant it.
Krista looks at her sister then Lenore, when she saw the smile she shook her head feeling foolish. Lenore looked happy, what gave her the right to stop it from happening? She looked at Rinon smiling placing her hand in his then looking back at her friend holding her hand out to her "Your right nothing gonna happen to this place, with the four of us, this place will be safe. Were family right?" she hope Lenore would look at her.

Lenore does, indeed, look over to Krista. She nods. "We're family. That's never going to change," she smiles again, looking back at Melantha.
Rinon puts his other hand over Krista's and squeezes it. "No matter what," he adds.
