Has anyone else read any of John Ringo's science fiction? He has a very militarist style. I don't mind that in one of his series (the "March..." books, which I enjoyed greatly), but I find it a little disturbing in a series that's billed as sci-fi, but reads more like realists stuff with a touch of fantasy thrown in (to put it politely). That series starts with Ghost, and after I read the first, I just couldn't bring myself to pick up any more.

I've been enjoying John Ringo's books, though I get a little annoyed by how often he brings personal politics into play. Like in the March series, with the environmentalist menace, or in his Council Wars series, in one of the books he has one of the characters give a three page diatribe explaining why global warming can't happen. It's just a bit annoying. Haven't read the Ghost series.
