okay. neing that I'm poor and can't afford a plethora of guitars ( i have 3 and a bass)
I decided to change one around.
see, I'm a huge fan of the 7-string sound, so i took my strat and stripped the strings and replaced them with the b,e,a,d,g, and B strings, going up, for a normal 7-string.. so basically i sacrificed a string for a much lower, heavier sound. (i'm working on some outworld and unearth, 7 string bands)
was this a good move? or am i really missing out without that high e?
