musing_maiden I haven't read anything by either of these authors (with the exception of Coraline, which I read in middle school). Could anyone tell me what makes their styles distinctive? I'm thinking about reading some of their books this summer. Pratchett is very toungue-in-cheek while Gaimen's humor can be a bit more dry and serious

Good Omens was the first book i'd read from either Gaiman or Pratchett. I absolutely adored it, and have since devoured both of their entire bibliographies, with a few random exceptions among children's books.
I've only read it once, and the other day picked it up from the bookstore. I'll be reading that again here in short order.
