Okay, so, here is the problem: My doll (a DollZone Tintan) that I got Monday is in a little bit of trouble- I THINK. Okay, so yesterday, I just removed her face-up. I put it on. When my sister asked (holding the head) 'Did you put white pastel on her, cause there's some here..." so I looked, and it did look like some one brushed white pastel on her face. So I'm looking closer, and it looked like there was the 'pastel' layer, and then a small hole or something in the layer. Is this what they call an air bubble? O_O I feel like an awful mommy, especily cause this is my first doll and I love her to DEATH.
Here is a list of what we used for the face-up: Testors Dull Coat Chalk Pastels Another type of chalk pastels. Q-tips Brushes
I did her first face up Tuesday...I sprayed her head before putting on the pastels. I used maybe...4 coats-ish tops. Then, later Tuesday, I added a tad bit of blush (pastels) to her checks. I then sprayed it again. I'd say I was about 7-10inches away at most times, but I know that I also did get alittle closer....
So then, LATER Tuesday, when my sister got home, I took it off cause my sister and I wanted to do our face ups together. I used: Clear NON-ACETONE Nail Polish Remover (Cutex brand) Mr. Clean Eraser Dawn Dish Soup (blue...) And some Q-tips.
So then, we did our face ups. Using the same things as before, but we also used a differnt bottle of Testors Dull Coat...We ran out about half way through -_-
So then, last night (Friday) I desided to take her face up off again, cause there where a few specs of things (one was IN her resin, but it came out, with a tiny hole now in the face crying ) And then, my sister pointed the stuff out (the white pastel-looking stuff) So did I skrew up her resin or something? I know it wasn't there when I bought her, she was brand new...
Here's where the white is: Around the eyes (both sides) Eye lids Around the nostral of the nose and then a tad below her nose. And behind both ears.
I did not put any pastels around the ears, I DID spray Testors there, but I DID NOT put on pastels...
Also, there is a small...not chip, but 2 small cuts(? slits...there vertical, and hardly noticeable) in the top of her eye lid... I've painted her nails with the second can of testors, and with pastels. Her hands are still fine. I've only done that once.
So did I get a bad batch of resin, or did I royaly mess-up my first doll? I know my sisters doll (DZ SHoyo) is fine, and we got them at the same time...
Any advise is apriciated.

(This is copyed from my DoA post, so if it's alittle...odd....yeah) PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!! O_O My poor angel...

Did you make sure the doll was completely dry before you sprayed it? It sounds like either you didn't let the head dry long enough or didn't get all the soap off. Then again it's also possible that you sprayed coats too quickly and they globbed a bit in the creased areas. I very highly doubt the doll is damaged. These are really old, but here are some examples of what can happen if you spray wrong and then it touches water. (this is MSC but I've seen it happen and look almost the same with Testors as well)

Are you washing the face with water after using the nail polish remover? It could be the remover that's reacting with the Testors as well as what Tea_Time is showing. If your blotches of white look like streaking it could be because of water or solvent (Whatever you're using to clean) residue. I use rubbing alcohol to clean my face-ups and mistakes and I don't rinse, I just let it dry before moving on with the face-up and I haven't had a problem
Testors is very, as the name might suggest, testy. Even though the can says to wait about 15 minutes between coats, I wait an extra ten minutes for every coat I put over the last one. I hold it the suggested 12 inches away and spray side starting the flow just next to the head and spray right past it from right to left and then back again. Never spray straight on, it won't coat evenly that way and it's more likely to bead up or just get funky overall.
Testors is also very weather sensitive; you can't get desired results if it's humid, damp or cold, reguardless of wether you're indoors (Which I highly reccomend you DON'T do) or out. It's been known to bead up, get sticky and turn colors (Usually a yellowish). It does have a tendancy to make the coated area look slightly darker, which I have seen first hand with one of my own dolls, but the color difference is very, very slight and it only seems to happen on the two Cherishdolls I've done work on, no one else.

thats just leftover coating....keep cleaning basically. Testors and MSC turn white when you put cleaners on it. The best cleaner is actually isopropyl alcohol 70-91%.....easy to get at the grocery store. As a commissioned faceup artist, I completely recommend it over any other cleaning method. it is completely safe on the resin and you can actually leave it soak in a closed container for several days and be fine. You can also reuse it when you are done. I pour a bottle into a tupperware container with a lid and then pop a lid on till everything has worked its way off on its own and requires no real work at all. Afer cleaning, just pour it back into the bottle till it becomes very cloudy and doesnt seem to be cleaning anymore. Exposure to air evaporates the alcohol in it and it becomes stinky water pretty much . Just dump it out after that 3nodding

Okay, thats prettty much what it looked like, but less of it >.<
I used some rbbing achool, and a tooth brush, and it came off...
Here's the order I did it in before: Rince with water MR. CLEAN MAGIC EARSER Nail POlsih remover More Mr. CLean... soapy water Then I pour soap like...all over the head, go over to the sink, and rince it ALL off.
So after people recommended achool and tooth brushes: Rince, water Mr. Clean magic earser Tooth brush with soapy water achool and tooth brush MINOR nail polish remover TONS of soap just on the head with tooth brush RINCE More of the above randomly MR CLEAN WITH ACHOOL WORKS WONDERS Rinced with water.
And yaaaaaaaaaaaaay it came off, I thank you all very much!!
Sorry for the late reply...
