I like Daft Punk.
I like them quite a bit.
They remind me of the Residents, going just by public persona and the never dropping of character thing And lord knows I love the Residents.
More than that, though, their music... it pleases me. Right now I have Veridis Quo spinning, and I have to say, a house band that can pump it up and then bring it down to mellow, sweet music impresses me.
Their video for Around the World is a departure from the norm. Watch it. It's been YouTubed, after all, and isn't that hard to find.
Post here with your opinions on them, dissenting or reinforcing as they may be.
And tell me if their new CD is worth buying. I'm going back and forth on it. Mike is a timid insecure girl.

Daft Punk is pretty good. Though i have to say i don't listen to much of them. Maybe i should change that?
