Does anyone else find it weird that LKH talks about her characters as if they're real people who she physically interacts with on a daily basis?

Part of me thinks it's good for an author to be close to their work and another part of me thinks "that b***h is crazy!". When I listen to her in interviews (for example the one currently on her myspace page) she kinda creeps me out. In that one in particular she talks about Richard and Edward like they occasionally show up at her lawn and garden parties.

Maybe she didn't have many friends growing up..

As long as the craziness don't harm her family and friends or interfere with her writing... I don't really care. I'm not a writer and maybe this is the way she "taps" into the characters.

From what I understand thinking that gets you punished in her forum..?

I don't know. For some reason she just kinda gives me the creeps when I listen to her talk. Not just that but she annoys me a bit like Anita. I even sometimes imagine her when I read the new AB books (I guess that makes me the crazy one xD). Still I can't turn my back from the series so I guess she's doing something right.
