Cirque Du Mutilation (Circus of Mayhem) is the latest, greatest, and most unique wrestling role-playing league you will ever find on this website. The promotions gimmick is, as you may have guessed, a circus. All wrestling events take place at a carnival. Your character can go out and enjoy the merry-go-round if you want.
Cirque Du Mutilation is an ultraviolent promotion. So if you don't like hardcore matches, this isn't the place for you. Matches have no restrictions, so feel free to use weapons whenever you want. Even if we list the match as 'normal' here in Cirque Du Mutilation anything goes.
As of this moment, we only have one show; Carnie Carnage. Cycles last two weeks but if your match finishes up early feel free to approach an authority figure for a new one; we'll just pretend it's the following week. We run things a little differently here in the Circus, if you don't ask for a match...you aren't going to get a match. This makes our job easier, and it guarantees an active match. There are two ways you can go about getting a match; you can either walk into an authority figures office, in character, and ask to be booked or you can just sign up in our match sign up form if you don't feel like going through the *knock, knock* "I want a match" stuff.
We also have a Reality TV show called; America's Next Top Carnie. This is a step away from the normal play by play wrestling rp's that most of you are use to having in these types of guilds. Every season we will take six wrestlers are pit them against each other in a series of mini-games, all decided either by random numbers, roll of the dice, or pure trivia knowledge. The winner of the TV Season gets a contract for a title shot.
In your join request please include the following information;
Character Name(s):
Finisher(s):
Gimmick Description(s):
(you will have to provide further information inside)
It doesn't matter to me how many characters you have, as long as they remain active in their matches it's all good. As to finishers, you may have two.
I only have one more thing to add before you sign up; NO REAL WRESTLERS! What I mean by that is, don't sign up as John Cena, Samoa Joe, Undertaker, or any other WWE, TNA, or real wrestling star. We only accept original characters here in the Circus. No, it's not because we’re pricks. It's because during my time on the Gaian Role-Playing scene I have seen too many reals, and it gets confusing after awhile. Also, cuts back on the drama that stems from people bitching about wanting to be Orton when there already is someone with the character.
