((Though, this will be spuratic when the idea comes to me, anyone is more than welcome to join the hind upon her journey. Just don't expect immediate responces.))

In her human form, Cera walked without a pack to burden her, without packaged food to eat, without a skin of water to drink. The only thing she had were the clothes upon her back, and the memories of countless generations of her mothers before her. And yet Cera could not let go of the pain that struck her so deeply. Out of all the experiences of days gone by, she could not find one that would explain why she was unable to help another daughter of Lunaris. She should have seen it coming, when she wasn't able to fully heal Grok of the darkness that choked his heart. Why did these two experiences make her feel so weak, so...useless? She looked up at the moon, how beautifully it glistened down with it's pure white light through the clouds. Her glowing eyes seemed so dim compared to the brilliance of the moon. For a moment, she felt unworthy...and thus hid in the shadows of a large tree. The world was ever changing. The grace and honor of the hind was all but forgotten...woven into the tales of myths and legends. For the few who've seen her true form, even they did not fully understand what they saw...only that she was a unique creature...perhaps just a beautiful reindeer. Reindeer...creatures only to be celebrated upon the day of snow, gift giving, and a jolly red man. Normally, a girl would cry at the thoughts that ran through Cera's head. But tears did not trickle down her dark cheeks. She would not allow it...for there would be too many conciquences... ...too many conciquences. How many times was she reminded of those? The danger her foremothers had risked. Too many people at the Lunar Hope knew her name now...due to foolish actions of others unaware of the power a simple name could have. Oh yes, saying the full name could bring feelings of comfort or fear, based on how it was said. But to know one's name...one's full name...could be dangerous either to the speaker or the owner of said name. It was dangerous to Cera most of all. It could literally kill her, if anyone found out the true power behind her name. She shook those thoughts of her head. She would not dwell on that anymore for the night. She slowly got up from her seat, and ventured towards a seemingly quiet enough cave...to rest for the night. Tomorrow, she would hope to find more answers...where ever it was she would find herself.

Cera awoke to the dull mid-day light...and the sound of rain that trickled into the small cave. It was raining...and it was slowly fludding the back of the cave. Slipping as she tried to get up, she ignored her normal stretching excersises as she made her way out of the cave. She was covered in mud by the time she made it out. No matter...it was part of the ever giving earth, and the water that helped the earth bring life. Earth and Water...they give and sustain life...as did the air...the Air we breath sustains and rebirths us from death. The hind looked up into the sky, feeling the rain fall upon her skin, feeling the mud drenched clothes cling to her limbs, feeling the air fill her lungs with every breath. Something was missing.....

Though she hungered for food, and was cold from the rain and mud...Cera did not use any of her powers to relieve herself of these pains. She would not use those powers until she found out what was wrong. She took some time to dig up a bit of root to nibble on as she walked further into the day. But the rain would not let up. It seemed to follow her. When she could feel the symptoms of a cold and fever flow through her body. She knew she would have to find higher, dryer ground...especially if she wasn't going to use her powers to tend to this cold. Without any aid, would her body be able to fight it? Time would tell.
When she finally did find a high and dry place to rest, inside of a cave that rested atop of a hill, Cera curled up and rested.

Her body ached and burned with fever. Cera was not getting any better, as the rain continued to pour, for what seemed like days. But for those days, she just slept, as she could not wake from the nightmares that haunted her mind. To her, the world was dying, as she seemed to be as well. Everything around her was being consumed by the growth of technology that was killing the creatures of legends and myths. She could see it, through the memories of her mothers that played like a never ending movie. She felt herself dying...her powers weakening as she could find no way of helping her friends...from the past and present...or any one else, for that matter. Those thoughts, those visions...they tortured the hind in her feverish state. It wasn't until her body couldn't take it anymore that she screamed out...in a higher pitch that only the Goddess could hear. Cera was dying, not just in her body, but in her mind as well. The woman who always seemed to remain calm and patient was now slowly going insane from the nightmares that plagued her sleep.

Her silent screams would be answered, with the soft and soothing voice of the goddess herself. Though, there were no specific words to be said, Cera's mind was put at ease, as was her feverish body. It was a time for a new experience, none of which Cera, nor her mothers before her, ever had before. This was not just a reincarnation of a hind, but the evolution of the species; something that had not happened since their ability to change their forms to that of a humanoid.
The sun rose from the distant horizon, as Cera awoke from her slumber. She felt weak, but refreshed....different, but she couldn't tell just how...not yet. She looked up to the sky, seeing the moon racing through the sky, as it was chased by the rising sun. Cera smiled...not knowing what Lunaris had done, but having faith that whatever happened, Cera would be guided in the right direction.
And so, she followed her heart, as she carefully set out back to town...to get cleaned up, and to satiate her hunger.
