For my senior research project I have to write a 10 page paper on an issue and I chose Gun Control and how it should be taken away. If anyone wants to read that I'll be glad to send it to you.^^
We all know the argument of defending ourselves and how gun control puts guns in the wrong people's hands so I won't continue on that.
But here is my feeling, the second amendment protects every other right we have. It is the single most important part of the Constitution. What stops the government from completely taking control? It's not a piece of paper I can tell you that. It's that fact the American citizens own guns and can defend ourselves against tyranny.
Something to munch on: The Revolution started when British troops tried to confiscate weapons from the citizens of Concord. From there we became free. Some tyrants who succeeded in confiscating weapons? Hitler Caesar Mussolini
