Alyson shook her head at his apparent thick-headedness. "Well, if you really only want to live twenty three more hours, go ahead. You may as well stay and at least hear what you can do to save your 'place here'." She said, a little scornfully. She had done well on earth, but still harbored only a small amount of affection for it. She loved it enough to not want it destroyed, but she intended to rule it from Hell, not live as a vagrant on the streets.
Kya leaned forward, trying to look doubtfull. "And you can prove this?" She asked Alyson, sure that she could. She didn't mind earth at all, actually, she had done okay on it. Any planet that had invented a job like being a lawyer was okay in her book.

He glared at her. "What if nothing happens in twenty three hours?" he said. "Oh, and what if you're some deranged lunatic? What if I'm crazy?! What if this is all some deluded fantasy I'm having, and I'm really just some mental patient lying in a coma somewhere, hmm? What if none of you exist? Hmm?" He was feeling a little light headed, and all of his babble somehow made sense. Was it such a crazy idea, though? Angels and Demons and the Apocalypse. It all sounded like some crazy dream anyway. The voice of reason telling him that he'd lived in heaven. That he'd been an angel was pushed to the back of his head. He continued to shout about insanity, ignoring the worried looks of people around him.

Triel sat, frustrated, at the table as the Angel continued to babble. Her right hand gripped the edge of the table, squeezing it as the pointlessness of his words still fell from his mouth.
Finally, one person knew how to get them all back into their respective realms, and this Angel wastes precious time in speaking stupidity. All Triel wanted was to go home. Pathetic as it may sound, for a demon, she was homesick.
If what Alyson said was true, that they only had twenty-three hours to resolve whatever happened, then this Angel may be what stand between her and her escape from Earth.
Tired of the Angel's antics, Triel brought her fist down, rattling the table, and stood abruptly.
"Stop it, silly Angel!" If she was close enough to hit him, she probably would have, "You're being idiotic! If we only have twenty three hours, like she says, you're wasting time with your pointless rant! Just... stop it! Sit down!"
Triel was pleading now. "Please. You said there must be a good reason for our being shut out. Do you not want to know why? Just sit down and hear her out."

"Oh, yes- by all means, waste more time." Hotaru responded. Right or wrong, she'd support the angel. Why not? She was a demon; chaos was her specialty. "How do we know you're a demon? You don't have proof, do you? For all we know, you're a human, trying to manipulate us. Others have been killed- how do we know you aren't trying to destroy us with a trap?"
Trying to support her friend, Tania piped up, saying "Yeah!" much too enthusiastically. A nudge from Hotaru quieted her, but a bit too late.
"This is a waste of time. Others have had ideas on how to go home- and none of them have worked. There've been end-of-the-Earth predictions since there was a spoken language, yet the humans are still here. Even if they all die, who's to say that we will? We're stronger than they are. An itty-bitty tornado, or hurricane, or whatever YOU think is dangerous, has a very, very small chance of being able to actually harm us, much less ruin an entire planet."

Alyson watched the chaos, clenching her fists tightly. She stood up, waving a hand, and concentrating. Her face contorted, and she touched Kya's shoulder for support, but suddenly all of the humans in the room around them froze. She kept her hand clenched on Kya's shoulder, smiling tightly. "There. See? Now, leave if you are going to make a scene." She said cooly. "I am only going to ask you once. Leave, or stay and listen like a rational adult." She released her grip on Kya's shoulder, letting go of the people. Around her, conversations resumed, none of them knowing what had just happened. She sat, carefull to not let her exaustion show on her face. Even with Kya's augmentation, the spells she had to keep up while speaking to these people were draining her powers enough as it was.
Kya shivered as she felt her power flow into Alyson, but relaxed as she saw what Alyson was doing. There was no doubt about it, Alyson was doing something else, but she would have to ask later. She shot Alyson a look, clearly saying 'you owe me', and Alyson nodded curtly, breathing in deeply.
"Now." Alyson said. "Are you ready to listen?"

Though this was indeed proof that Alyson was supernatural, Hotaru wasn't thoroughly convinced. Freezing the humans had, after all, taken a lot out of her. The grip on Kya's shoulder was, Hotaru decided, not simply show. Either she had borrowed energy, or had at least needed some sort of support.
Either way, she had her doubts about Alyson. How did she know they could get home if she had not done it? And if she had, why come back for them- even the angels? And why come back without an ultimatum, demanding payment in return for bringing them home? It made little sense. Demons weren't known for being selfless, after all. Why, she had even called herself 'Greed'.

Suddenly, the squeal of tires split the quiet as the engine of a sports car revved up, then stopped. After a moment, a delicate figure stepped out of the chrome-blue Lotus. Well, perhaps "stepped" was not the right word... "flowed" might have been a better choice to describe her movement. As the door shut and locked behind her, a careless shake of her head sent a mane of golden hair tumbling down her back. It seemed to almost glow against the unrelieved black of her tight racing attire. Bright eyes snapped with fire as she sauntered into the little cafe, twirling a crimson envelope in one fine-boned hand. Quite a few mere mortal male heads turned to follow her as her well-endowed form passed them. The gold writing on the envelope was strange, however... it could not seem to decide what it said. One moment, it seemed to spell out the word Lust, but the next the glittering script spelled out Sulriel.* With casual grace, the woman known to as Eleana Sendros, world-renouned software designer and computer wiz, pulled one of the chairs a little out from the table and settled herself, flashing a smile at the rest of them. "So sorry I'm late, Alyson, dear. I was flying in from a little stay in New Zealand, and my co-pilot didn't like being second to a woman." Her perfect society smile went decidedly feral for a moment. "He didn't realize there were such hungry sharks circling below us... I do hope the poor dears didn't get indigestion." Her bright blue eyes flick down as she surveys her perfectly manicured nails. "But I hope I haven't missed anything, or held you all up. I did get here as quickly as possible when I found that delightfully mysterious note you sent." A flick of her fingers lofted the envelope onto the creamy tablecloth. Oddly enough, the golden letters still did not seem to be able to decide whether they spelled Lust or Sulriel.((*For Sulriel's backstory, please read this.))

Lain ramained silent as more and more demons started to show up, it wasn't his battle yet and he sure as heck wasn't going to start a fight with this group. He calmly scanned the gathering crowd and as tempers flared he'd almost gone to the defense of a fellow angel, but common sense soon ruled it out. Wouldn't want to make myself the enemy. He mused trying to feign indifference as his kin recived a verbal lashing form a particularly dangerous demon. I always have been the watcher, slow to action but all the wiser for it.
"23 hours is it?" He finally spoke again letting the glasses fall so those gathered around could see the shimmer in his eyes, he had the nifty ability to know when someone- even a demon was lying and the eyes were just a riminder to the rest of the table that even stuck on earth the ability still functioned.
"She's telling the truth, don't know why she'd lie to us though. So....what would you have us do Alyson?" He focuses the glimmering eyes on her waiting for the all important answer.

Tom looked first at the attractive woman who had just entered, then at Lain when he spoke. With a small sigh, he sat down and pulled a small pill bottle out of the pocket of his old green-gray coat, making sure not to remove any of the small coins or kleenex that was also in there. When he was sure no one was watching in, he tapped out two small, pale blue pills and popped them in his mouth. Swallowing them, he returned the bottle to his pocket, ran his fingers through his hair, and listened to the conversation.
((Dear god, that had nothing to do with anything. Oh well))

Alyson nodded at the newcomer, returning her sweet smile. "Well..." She answered the other question "Honestly, I want to try to stop it." She turned to Lust again, adding. "Earth has around twenty-three hours left until the hosts of heaven and hell run it and us over, destroying both." It was a little of an exaduration, but she didn't want to go into the specifics. She could tell that some didn't beleive her, but it didn't matter at this point. The other spells were getting harder to hold, and once she let them go there would be no way for anyone to back out. It was a rather dangerous trump card, one that might just get her killed either way. She shot Kya a warning look, telling her not to say anything. She had counted on that Kya would be her ally, or at least help her, because Kya knew why she wanted to save earth.
Kya smiled back, raising an eyebrow and leaning forward towards the table. She was dammed if she would do as Alyson wished. There was no way that she would just stay as a sidekick. "I have a feeling there is something else..." She said softly, looking at Alyson intently. Alyson stiffened, and pretended that she hadn't heard, quickly scanning the faces of the others.

" So tht's it. Seem's like they've forgotton us, eh?" Lain settled bacl into his chair, something powerful was building around them, and it was not the collective aura of their power. He didn't think someone would be stupid enough to try and spell the group but then again, Greed did seem to want to save this planet, what could see be planning. All the eyes could tell him was she was still keeping something from them, Lain was determined to find out what. "Yes, there has to be more, what part willl we gathered here play in such a plan assuming you have one. Do we even have a chance?" he continued to stay calm and collected, he always had and always would in his mind. There was no room for loose emotion in heaven after all.

Triel's eyes ventured downward, towards the finely made table that the group sat at.
Twenty three hours until heaven and hell runs us over...
Triel zoned out on a corner of the table, thinking. Her feathered purple hat dipping with her head to cover her deep lavender eyes.
They don't know we're here. We've been exiled, and now we're going to be destroyed...
Her head snapped up to face the angel Lain when he spoke. "Seem's like they've forgotten us, eh?"
His words brought her into a state of mental panic. Zoning out, again, on a spot on the wall behind the speaking angel, Triel's mind raced. Her thoughts were chaotic behind her blank eyes.
They've forgotten us. We're alone. No one will come. They've banished us. No way in. They've forgotten us. They've forgotten... We're forgotten... They forgot...
Triel mentally slapped herself.
What are you thinking!? Think rationally. You aren't alone. You've got... well... a mediocrely friendly bunch of... not companions... uh. Well... that's not helping too much... but think!
Greed knows how to get us back into our respectiful homes! Why else would she bring us here? Of course, she may not be sharing her knowledge for free. She IS Greed, after all.
In any case, you shouldn't panic until you know everything. She has knowledge. Let her give it!
Triel, in agreement with herself, came out from the safety of her mind and refocused her attention on Alyson, not speaking a word. She preferred to let the one who knew what she was talking about, do the talking, and wished not to interrupt her.
Her suspicions, though, were tucked away in the back of her mind.

"Why would they want to destroy the world?" Tom asked, not that he particularly cared. He'd reached the point where he didn't care much about anything, but he thought it was worth asking. "And how the hell do you know, anyway?" He wondered again if she was making this up, as some kind of stupid joke or something. Perhaps they were all in on it, and silently laughing at him. Did they think it was funny to treat him like this? Stupid screwed up Tom, didn't know anything--- He struggled to remain calm and avoid throwing things, telling himself that he was being silly. Why would they want to do that? He looked at all of them and relaxed a little.
