Okay, I didn't actually get to go to their fourth of July parade which is notoriously liberal. I had to work, but my parents told me about a float in the procession this year.
It was a flat bed being hauled by a tractor and on it was the entire assembly of a wedding under an archway. Bride, bridesmaids, groom, best man, ushers, so on and so forth with a just married sign. Then behind them were some more people.
A man with a sign saying "some day my prince will come"
A woman with a sign saying "Always the bridesmaid, never the bride"
Another man with a sign saying "Elton and (Gah I forgot the name) Just got married. Why can't I?"
There was a guy in drag with a sign..
I don't know what all the signs were since I wasn't there, but I wish I was!

Thats freaking awesome. :3 Don't understand why it would be at a 4th's parade though.

Round Pond is tiny though, I was there ealier today not much beisde an antique store, a penny candy store, and a bad restaurant. XD
