Greenday didn't invent Punk
But without them it never would have gotten out like it did
Without them there are so many bands that wouldn't have picked up instruments
As much as I owe My Chemical Romance, I think I may owe them more
It always bothers me when people bash them

i have all 9 cds (except 'bulletin a bible')
and yeah, no one should say A SINGLE BAD THING about them!
cuz without theyre awesomeness,
most rock bands today probably wouldnt exist!
they are my heroes! ^_^

I love Green Day.
I always have and I probably always will.
I love Closing Time[decieveddd! Shows how much I'm up to date in Green Day : D] and Longview and Basketcase.
And pretty much every other green day song.

its by semisonic.
sorry, i just HAD to point it out.
that song was on places like limewire
saying the artist was green day.

How many bands name Green Day as one of their influences?
Tons, thats how many.
I saw a green day concert a few years ago, it was super cool. Billie has so much energy, its amazing.
&& Tre came out in a bunny suit.

warning: sob story ahead. D=
there was a point in time when green day was my favorite band. my stepsister and i would talk about how we would never go to one of their shows without one another. but things changed and i havnt liked green day as much since. but when one of thier songs comes on, i can't not listen to it; and it brings back so many memories.

I'm not that much of a big fan though I do like one of there songs.
It's called 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams.'
I first heared that son when I was maybe 5-6, and every since I heared I fell in love with the song!
