Lexaeus stood as silent as a stone wall next to Demyx, watching over the proceedings. He probably wouldn't have trusted Demyx in Marluxia's care any more than he would have trusted him with Vexen. With supervision, however, it would be easy to see that the little one got something that would make him more comfortable, and back in bed as soon as possible.

 "I can't hold my mouth open AND answer your question...."
Well, that was a rather smartass reply from the sitarist. Even so, it was soon interrupted by another series of coughs. Whimpering, Demyx flattened his ears and opened his mouth. Besides the cough and general feeling of ickyness, he really didn't think he had any other symptoms.

Marluxia rolled his eyes at the snide remark. "If you told me what was wrong then kept your mouth open -after- you where finished." He gritted his teeth together, then again maybe it was better he kept his mouth shut. Some patient this one was, oh yes. He couldnt exactly get anyform of payback at the moment, Not with the eyes of Lex on his back. Well damn.
Ok then, the cough was a good enough responce for him. Flashlight still on he stuck his face close to Dems and peered at his throat, didnt seem red. With a small grin he snapped the light off and stepped away, sticking it into his pocket. Turning away again without a word he walked into the back of the garden. From a distance the duo could see him looking through the different plants.

Lexaeus was inclined to break his silence and speak up about Demyx' symptoms, but Marluxia was already heading off. At least helping the cough would help the musician sleep. Maybe the herbs would help with the sleeping too, making Demyx drowsy enough to sleep would certainly go a long way to making sure he actually got the rest he needed.

Demyx kept his mouth open for a few moments after Marluxia's departure, but eventually shut it even without the command to do so. As the flowery Audio searched the garden, the sitarist hopped up and did a little search of his own. Even when ill the boy had a short attention span, and looking through the plants was much more interesting than just sitting around.

His head didnt even need to swivel around to know what Demyx was up to, this usually happened when he was involved. "Snap any leaflet off and you'll regret it."
Rummaging around a little more he returned with a handful of partially dead looking plant leafs, they looked dry and slightly brittle. One second Marluxia was pulling out the mixing bowl and no sooner there was a 'table' made of vines to match the chair. Setting it down he crumpled the random plants in a particular order, and ammount. Pulling out a meshlike cloth he put the mixture inside of it and tied the top off with small twine. "Put this in one cup of water and boil it for around ten minutes. No longer, no less. Dont open the mesh at all. Once done jsut toss out the leaf mix. Make demyx drink it while still warm. " He handed the small pouch to lex, the pink audio didnt quite trust demyx with it.

Lexaeus followed Demyx with his eyes as the little one wandered, ready to speak up and curb any accidentally destructive behavior, but he had no need as Marluxia warned the musician from it in the first place.
He only let Demyx out of his sight for a second to take the small pouch and listen to the instructions. Ten minutes. How much trouble could Demyx get into in ten minutes?

"Hrmph, I wouldn't hurt anything!"
Quickly losing interest in Marluxia's instructions, the sitarist wandered his way over to a particularly colorful batch of flowers. From there it didn't take too long for Demyx to start gently poking at a rather bright blue flower. Of course, no matter how gentle he was, the flower was still pretty fragile, and within moments one brightly colored petal fell to the ground. Instantly, the boy's ears flattened, and the sitarist let out a frightened whimper. s**t s**t s**t -s**t-, Marlie was going to have his a** for this! But..maybe he hadn't noticed! Doing his best to look innocent, Demyx whirled around and grinned at the other two Audio.

'Hey.. HEY!' Marluxia cried out mentally. He thought that Lex was going to take the little troublemaker with him when he went to make the herbal tea blend. To his great displeasure though.. he didnt. Eye already twitching from having to be around Demyx for a whole ten minutes while lex was away.
Looking around to face the puffy haired audio he stared at him for a few seconds. Demyx was giving him a stupid look.. and generally that means something happened.
"What did you d- MY FLOWERS!" Racing towards the patch he shoved demyx out of the way. Silently he eyed them and brought our a small set of shears and trimmed off the now gimp flower. Sticking the shears, and the flower back into the coat pocket Marluxia stood up immediatly, and turned to face demyx. He didnt give the slightest look of anger on his face.. all except for his eyes. Smiling broadly Marluxia stepped towards the other. "What... have we talked about touching the flowers?"

Lexaeus thought, or hoped rather, that Demyx would not trouble Marluxia too much in only ten minutes. Unfortunately it took him a couple minutes to get back to the kitchen, put the kettle back on, and heat it to a boil before the ten minutes could officially start.
But really, how much trouble could Demyx get into in that greenhouse, and under Marluxia's supervision besides?

"EEP!"
Demyx flailed as he was shoved aside, but thankfully remained standing upright. Otherwise the little sitarist could have gone crashing into a patch of flowers and -that- certainly would have doomed him.
"Uh...uh.....W-we uh....talked a-about giving them love and c-care right? And..and s-singing! Flowers like singing yes? I can s-s-sing!"
Trying desperately to dig himself out of this hole, Demyx started to sing. Of course, singing while stuffed up from a cold was sure to produce a not so sweet tone.

His smile stayed abundant on his face, but his eyes still told else wise. "Singing might be one way to help them feel happy.. though the singing part is mostly there to keep -you- happy. As far as i can hear..." One of his ears swiveled away, as if running from the horrible singing, " That singing would kill my flowers if singing really made them grow."
Marluxia approached Demyx a little closer. Like he was going to allow him to get away with this... If he did this once, imagine it happening again? No, he needed to n** this in the bud -now-.

Thankfully the kettle boiled faster than the giant expected, and with factoring the travel time back to the greenhouse, he was out of the kitchen in less than ten minutes carrying a steaming hot mug of tea. By the time he reached Demyx, exactly ten minutes will have passed. No more, no less. Hopefully Marluxia had a wastebasket into which he could put the little bag of boiled leaves.
He pushed open the door to the greenhouse and looked around, hoping to spot either of the nobodies.

Marluxia's words hurt the youth, who instantly stopped his singing. With a sad little whine Demyx flattened his ears back and shuffled uncomfortably before the flowery one.
"I'm s-s-sorry...I was just t-trying to help!"
