Kali was quickly learning the world was an extremely unique place, something that varied greatly depending upon the perspective of the individual viewing it. Even the mere difference between a pup's view and that of an adult's skewed more aspects of life than one could fathom, and for a Feli well over a year old, Kali found herself forced to re-discover all the things she'd previously known.
Adult or not, she was still as timid and naive as she'd ever been; waking up twice her normal size hardly changed that. If anything, the sudden metamorphosis took her by such surprise that she seriously considered spending the rest of her days hidden away, if only to avoid awkward questions beyond her capability of answering. Finally though, after a long morning spent puzzling over her new look in a nearby mirror, she ventured off in search of guidance. Guidance, of course, in the form of Banshee. Although Kali entertained the possibility that perhaps Banshee, too, had suddenly changed overnight-- perhaps everything had-- even if the neon pink Feli had changed beyond the recognition of all others, Kali was certain she, at least, would recognize her friend instantly.
She just hoped she could find Banshee long before running into anyone else.

Calliope had something of an usual birth. She had remained in her bundle for over a year, much to the concern of others, but she was an adult as soon as she emerged from her incubation stage. This is mere speculation, but many of her character attributes may be accredited to her distinct lack of childhood. Although she had the body of the adult, in her few hours after her birth Mehira Konane von Calliope Tazahala da Mechola Vinci had already ensued in many childlike activities. For example, she made up her own name (although the result was something long-winded and nearly comical), she had clipped a small stuffed cat to her tail hair because of their immediate connection to one another (and had practiced balancing it for over an hour), and presently she was scrounging the Feli House high and low looking for junk to attach to her person. So far she had found a string of candy beads now tied around her tail, a few clips and necklaces and a precious pair of paw warmers.
Calliope had found that some of the best junk she could ask for were left over items from kit-hood that adult Felis had seen fit to throw away. She almost painfully colored feli was wandering about rather absend-mindedly until she came across a dark Feli with somewhat of a long face. She tilted her head, a few strands of blonde-red hair getting in her eyes. Up until now she had yet to see a really disheartened Feli, and for some reason Calli felt strangely inclined to help. A little uncertain as to how to approach her, Calliope stopped and sat next to the Feli (with incredibly cool jewelry).
“Hi! Uhm... Are you looking for someone?”
