One year of college has changed me for the better, I think. At least compared to when I look back at how I was in high school. I'm eager to see what the rest has in store for me.
Also, I'm curious to see where it mentions divorce in the Bible. And why people aren't defending the sanctity of marriage by preventing both adultery AND divorce.

Well, God hates divorce; says so in the Bible. Malachi 2:16a: “I hate divorce, says the Lord God of Israel.”
The kind of reasoning that lets Christians can condemn divorce is the same logic that lets them condemn Atheists - "it wasn't a sincere commitment to begin with." But that's a highly charged and unprovable statement to make. So it's basically just another guilt-tripping emotional control tool.
You know what made the biggest push towards my becoming an Atheist? Attending seminary school.
