 Melusine shivered as she felt the cool mist of the waterfall upon her fur. She shook the small droplets of water off of her and looked around cautiously. The jungle looked so shady and dark, with only a few small beams of light penetrating the jungle's canopy. And it was only the afternoon. She moved a few feet away from the waterfall so as to not get so wet again. She leaned herself against a rock close by, feeling unsure as to wether if she was alone or not.{{{Sorry if it isn't much x,x;; }}}

(( its good ^^ ))  A snow leopard male ulaya pads through the jungle soundlessly while his fur feels like it is weighting down on his body and the sun was beating mercilessly against his body which made him flee into the jungle. In the result, he strayed from his napping sister and now he is lost. His ears pinned back against his head as he mentally beats himself up for getting himself lost once again.
"Ugh..." He says in a soft disgusted voice as he smelled the water and he hears the sound of falling water. Score He thinks to himself as an idle smile appears on his face while his pace picks up until he was running at the full speed toward the sound of the running water. He was parched and he want to flee from the merciless heat and sun. He suddenly skidded to halt as he spotted someone emerging from the water and he moves toward the tree to stand behind it. He wasn't sure if the creature is friendly or not.

Melusine jumped in place as she heard a sort of sliding sound somewhere behind her. She peeped out from behind the rock to look and see if anyone was there. All she could see was the stream, the waterfall, and the plantlife that surrounded it. "Is...is anyone th-there?" She asked out loud, a bit shakey. She felt uneasy sitting by the rock now. She felt like a target now, especially since she already spoke out loud, where as someone would know where she was.
Melusine decided to head back over to the waterfall. Feeling that she would be more sheltered there than sitting by the rock. She started to lightly trot there, hopeing that she wouldn't be noticed by whoever was out there, which would be a bit complicating, since she sticked out from the green grass. 'Almost...there...' She thought to herself. It seemed to her that she'd just have to embrace the coolness of the fall's mist.

Tobias could see that the creature he recently spotted was nervous and uneasy about this just like him. He continues to stay behind the tree while watching the female trotting toward the safety of the waterfall and he slowly moves his head away from the tree to get a better look of the female. She is one very odd looking creature and he is not sure if he should speak up to let her know that he means no harm.
His tail twitches before it coils around his body when he sits down in now plain view where the female could see him. "I am here, ma'am." He calls out in calm yet loud voice so it could carry all way across the distance toward the female. "I am here to escape from the heat of the sun.. not to fight." He felt like he had to say that to reassure her. He have a gentle soul and it shows alot when he is in the company of a female.

Melusine skidded to a halt as she heard the sudden echo of the other ulaya's voice. She looked vigorously about her surroundings, left to right. She stopped, focusing on a tree where a creature sat next to it. She was suprised to have noticed him now, seeing as to how light colored his fur was, she might have thought that it was just the trick of the mist. He indeed looked very similar to herself, only without her horns or tail. 'Interesting...' she thought to herself; She then cleared her throat "And how can I tell that you aren't lieing?"

Tobias looks at Melusine with a curious expression. The female looks just like him but she is light bluish purple with ram-like horn and weird tail. He watches the female in silence for few seconds then he finally spoke up once again. "If I was lying, I would be on you right now ripping you apart with my claws and teeth." He calmly says as he still stands there to show that he is still no threat to her.
"Shall I approach the lake with your permission, ma'am?" Tobias calls out once again politely while his icy blue eyes watches the female curiously.

Melusine watched the ulaya's expression change; It seemed like this creature was just about as curious about her as she was of him. She still felt unsure though, he could attack at the last minute if he wanted to. "Ahh... And what makes you think you'd be able to get at me so easily?" She swayed her tail about in annoyance 'men...they all seem so cocky...'
"Theres no need for my permission, Sir.." Melusine called back over to him. 'Well it couldn't hurt for him to come...but I'll have to be sure not to be off my guard...' She thought to herself

Tobias had a grace to look contrite as he looks at Melusine. "I worded it badly.. I mean I would have attacked without warning instead of standing here to show that I mean no harm." He says in soothing manner as he could see her tail sway in annoyance and he mentally frowns to himself. He is determined to make up to her some way as he slowly pads toward the lake with his bulky tail flicking back and forth in lazy manner.
"My parents taught me that its polite to ask for permission when I arrive at the place that is already occupied.. even if its for short bit." Tobias explains as he dips his paw in the cool water and shudders lightly in pleasure because he came here to escape the heat.

Melusine slowed her tail's movement a bit as the other ulaya spoke. Well it seemed like he meant it...she supposed that she could trust this male...for now. She relaxed her body, standing up with her paws side by side. "Well...it sounds like your parents really knew how to raise kits.", she said, taking a step forward torward the river's edge. By now, she was quite used to the cooling mist, it felt rather quite refreshing after her sudden feelings of suspicion and nervousness. She felt that she could do with a little loosening up.

Tobias's body fully disappears under the cold water except for his neck and head while he swims around lazily in silence. He rather to sit around in silence than to force the conversation and talk so thats what he does. He glances at Melusine with an idle smile on his face while the shadowy figure of his tail waves back and forth like a dancing snake behind him. "They were inexperienced but the lessons.. I guess they are passed down from generation to next. My papa and mama taught us things they have learned." He is very careful to keep the distance between him and the female because he want to reassure her and himself that its safe to be in the same place as each other.

Melusine lowered herself down, deciding to lay down onto her belly. She flinched a bit, as she felt quite unprepared for the direct cold from the damp rock. Licking her paws, she groomed herself, rubbing her paw behind her ears. She looked back over to Tobias, a sort of bored expression appeared on her face, though a small smile crept across her maw. "I see...I take it that they wanted to be sure to continue on their family's....traditions...?"

Tobias moves around fluidly in the water, almost like he belonged in the water instead of the land. He moves toward the shore behind the waterfall after he stood there under the pounding water for few seconds then he perches on cool rock with a sigh. His steely blue eyes glances over at Melusine and a slight smile appear on his face after he shook his body. He began to groom himself metiliciously to make sure he doesn't miss any spot on his body. " You hesitate with the question..." He calmly says as he watches the female. "The traditions are kinda big in my family..." He answers to her question while coiling his tail around his body then he began to clean dry off his tail and groom it.

Melusine stopped grooming herself for a moment, looking back over to Tobias. She seemed to freeze as she watched him shake the loose water that seemed to 'cling' onto his pelt, even though if he was close enough so as to shake water onto her, she just imagined as to how cold it must feel in the water, though it seemed that he was quite used to it. "Ahh...Sadly I can't remember much on my own heritage, so I don't really recall any of my own family's traditions." She got up on all fours and moved torward the edge of the river, looking back at her reflection, she dipped one of her paws into the water, drawing it back, shaking it vigorously. Yep, it was definately cold, well...to her anyway.
