Byakko did not need to try to be sneaky with the red-headed feline. As obvious as the question might seem, she simply glanced at him with green eyes before diving into a process of thought. This process of thought, however, had nothing to do with wonderings of a proposal, but it had everything to do with choosing between gemstone colors. The metal was the simple part-- white gold. She had always favored white gold. But...there were so many gorgeously colored gemstones that it was difficult to pick between them. Raelen's brows furrowed as she concentrated, the tip of her tail giving a light twitch every now and then. Finally, she smiled and looked towards Byakko with a small laugh. "You know, it always seems that you can only narrow things down to two. I perfer white gold...but gemstones, they're all so pretty. It's most difficult to choose between garnet and sapphire." Her ears twitched, and she tilted her head slightly.

Byakko chuckled and smiled to him warmly. He leaned over to kiss her forehead as his now gloved hand reached up to brush through some of her lovely hair. "If that is what you desire, I will figure out a way to get all you wish for in that ring." He wanted only her true happiness. Removing his hand away, he looked at her curiously. "Shall we be heading back now then?" He enjoyed the time he got to spend with Raelen, but she was wet and knew that she must have been cold. For a temporary fix, he removed his cape and came to wrap it around the feline. It had been sitting out in the sun that whole time as they swam, making it very warm. That would do for the moment.

Mew watched the water, hoping a fishie would come by soon! She didn't want her babies to go hungry. Seeing a decently big shadow, she swiped at the water and sank her claws into it, hoping she would get the fishie. She brought her hands out of the water and saw a big trout. She smiled and wiggled her lynx tail happily, getting all thoughts of the talking frog out of her head. She didn't want to be any more upset or else.. it would make her feel sick and she didn't like seeing her food come out of her. She waded back to shore and climbed out onto the bank with her fish, still wiggling as to vainly escape her clawed grasp.

Astaliare simply sat quietly in the bushes, watching over his kitten, and their unborn children. He still hoped that he could make things right. His hand fished into one of his pockets, and moved a ring around inbetween his fingers. Whatever Mew decided, he would still be there for his children. They wouldn't go through life without a father, and he wasn't about to let someone else father his children. He was going to be there for them, and they would know who their biological father was. He just...hoped that Mew could forgive him.
