Xavier had brought his arm back to strike Jaydn in the face again when Nori caught his arms. The moment of distraction forced Xavier to drop his guard, and the second he noticed it, he let Nori pull him back, but only to avoid Jaydn hitting him. Once up, though, he struggled against Nori grasp, freeing himself without too much trouble. The growing amount of people in the foyer upset Xavier and when Charles laid into him about being immature Xavier scowled. He started it. But he didn’t say anything. His eyes were bright with anger as he looked at Jaydn and a lot of bad things were going through his mind to say to his older brother, but he restrained himself and stalked out the front door. If Jaydn was going to be the way he was, then Xavier didn’t want to be there either. As much as he didn’t want to take Charles’ advice, Xavier went to search out Kyrin.

As Nori had struggled with Xavier, he tried not to let Jaydn's sharp words deter him. It was a fultile effort to hold Xavier back, as the teen was stronger and more agile. Nori noticed Levi and Ian approach him, but he had been distracted, until Xavier had freed himself. Charles' usually quiet voice had become abnormally loud when he interjected the fight, leaving behind a booming echo in the foyer that had taken Nori offgaurd. As the confusion had ceased momentarily, Xavier had taken the initiative to leave. Nori watched him go, a little short of breath from his efforts. He stalked backwords, looking curiously at Ian who had latched onto him. "Er, yes?" Charles' attention had now turned to Nori, and Nori appreciated the words he had to offer. He really is a nice guy... Nori wondered what was going to happen now. The brothers had let off some steam, but the situation wasn't any better.

Miles watched the scene, arms crossed, as he leaned on the kitchen door casing. He smiled at Charles' outburst, noting that every man had his limits. The places' chaos had taken a number on him and everyone else as well. The brothers were still as ornery as ever, even making commotion enough for half of the household to be lured in the foyer. The small Blauvelt kid had even gotten into the situation. But it seemed Charles had a fatherly command in his voice that even Xavier wasn't exempt of. As Xavier left through the front door, Miles caught a small glimpse of the outside. ...outside. Miles wanted to leave as well. He wanted to get out of this place for a while. Breathe some fresh air and actually do something productive! Miles could do it; He could probably get a trail on were Kyrin was. Of course I can. What had Charles said-That she had probably just returned home, to the Matsuis? Well, it was worth a shot. Although it would be risky if Kyrin actually wasn't there... He might be in a scrape. Well, in that case, it sounded like the perfect assignment.
Miles smiled to himself. At any rate, it was better than sticking around the neurotic mansion. And meeting Han might be a favorable oportunity. However, Jaydn probably wouldn't like the idea of Miles visiting the Matsui residence... perhaps Han might blame Jaydn for Kyrin's dissapearance. But surely, he couldn't object to Miles searching for Kyrin, could he? In that case...
He walked into the foyer as well, putting on his jacket by the front door. "Charles raised a good point Jaydn. I'm going out too. Expect to see Miss Kyrin with me when I come back, whether it's tonight or a week from tonight. " He remembered that another person was missing. Someone from Kyrin's group, was it? Miles' dark eyes landed on Nori and Ian, assuming that they were what was left of Kyrin's group. "Perhaps you outto search for your companion as well." Adjusting his glasses, Miles walked out the front door as well, leaving the rest of the group and their anxiety behind.

The louder ruckus of Karma at the top of the stairs momentarily interrupted Jaydn's thought to commence his fight with Xavier. However, when Charles' booming voice echoed throughout the room, Jaydn paused in his steps, listening to the unusually harsh-toned man and his words. At mention of Han's opinion of the fight between the brothers, Jaydn felt his ears go slightly red in embarrassment. It was true what Charles said, their uncle would in no way approve their behavior for whatever reason. Jaydn's expression swayed between that of angry vindictation and a recently scolded child. When Xavier turned and left, Jaydn, who would usually take that as a victory any other time, instead felt insignificant. Turning to face Miles at the door, Jaydn nodded. He called over his shoulder, resigning to the inevitable, "Maddox, check with Uncle. It's all we can do now."
Giving a sigh, Jaydn focused his cool grey eyes now on Charles, his voice tense, "A moment of your time, Charles." Jaydn gestured to the ballroom before entering it himself. After Charles entered the room after him and Jaydn dismissed the men in the room, Jaydn turned to face Charles. For a split second, Jaydn met eyes with the older man before flickering his vision to focus elsewhere. The way he spoke now was a very rare sight for it wasn't very often that Jaydn would become humble in front of his subordinates. "I'd like to thank you, Charles. True, it isn't in your responsibilities to watch over my actions but I do appreciate that you are willing to do what it takes to ensure that the Coyotes stay on task. I seemed to have lost myself back there and Xavier never does much good for my temperment." Taking a breath in, Jaydn met eyes with Charles, an apologetic smile taking over his features. "But it is my own fault for falling for his jabs."
