i love my friend soo much. even though she can get to be a pain in the butt sometimes although i still care for her. one day she told me that she wasnt happy with her life. - a straight a student, awsome parents and super cool brothers- ! i was like wat? she said dat she was put on too much pressure to get good grades and i told her that it dosnt matter as long as you pass you dont need to get everything perfect. ill still like u no matter wat. she also said she didnt want to have to face the problems in life, she hates seeing people dieing everyday - and all dat bad stuff-and then she said that she wanted to commit suicide but never really had the courage too. actually one night she called me at 11 surprised opm and told me she almost did. on other days she cuts herself and im scared for her. i dont want her to die but i dont know what to tell her that will change her mind. i dont want to lose her. so pretty much all im asking for is some advice from you girls. please !

 How old is she? It may be just teenage blues gone a little wrong.
She may just need to go and talk to someone about everything.
Or tell her to just grow up and face the music. Because it can get better, but if she thinks negatively, it'll just stay the same. I've never seen a heart that I couldn't break.

My best friend had the same problem. I remember our other friends reported her to a councelor, and she got really mad at them for telling.
But you know what? She got over it.
Tell a councelor.
There's obviously something deeper here.

I think you should talk to her more, and tell her how it affects not just her, but others around her. Maybe she's trying to fit in the crowd or something, I have a friend acting the same way. D:

To be frank, it's selfish.
You need to give your friend reasons to open up to you and others and relieve herself of whatever is built up, but what you need to also teach her is that no one belongs to themself. She has no right to harm herself because as long as people care about her, she belongs to them to.

Go with what everyone else is telling you; talk to her.
If she continues to do it, then you need to tell someone else, a consular, teacher, or parent usually works. Don't worry about her getting mad, because you could be saving her life in the long run and if she can't see that you told because you cared then she really is selfish and you deserve better friends than that.

My friend did the same thing also.
We aren't friends anymore, but I can tell you I was scared to death and cried openly during school.
You need to speak to an adult, she may hate you at first, but she will thank you if you stick with her.

Oh my goodness! Two of my friends used to do that! And for no reason! I think sometimes it's the "Emos are emos" thing. But they saw councilors. Now There all better! ^^
Emos are Emos= If you call someone something enough, they will think it's true and act like it. This works for all labels.

I'm ashamed to say I was the same way a couple years ago. I'll tell you what me friend did to get me to stop though:
She held me so tight that I couldn't breath and begged my to stop. She said she wouldn't let go till I promised I would stop. She told me about all the good times we'd had and that she miss it if I was gone.
Just let your friend know how much you care about her. Tell her about all the good times and don't ever let go of her. Let her know you believe in her and tell her she'll get through.
At the end of every tunnel, no matter how dark it is, there's always a light at the end.
