ok ppl , i got some questions.
1)Why doesnt ed have to wear the military uniform because if he did , pl would probaly not mistake al as the fullmetal

I think it's because that while Ed is a State Alchemist, he is not technically enlisted in the military and therefore does not wear the uniform. He's refered to as a "dog of the military" meaning that the military 'employs' him, but he is not actually an officer or whatever. Of course, I also don't think he'd wear it anyway... rofl

CountryGirl1980 He is never at the office and he will just get it tared up. You've got a point. He'd have to get a new uniform like, every other episode. He kills his jacket, and shirt, all the time! (I also wonder where he gets all his right gloves. Every time he uses alchemy while turning his arm into a blade, his glove disintegrates....)

Who needs that damned jacket anyway. Wearing it only would have gotten him in huge danger a bunch of times like when he first met Scar. He would have anialated him!
