Looking right, and then swiftly, left, the male slowly peeked from behind the sofa; large silver eyes seemed to indicate fear as he pressed himself down to the floor and moved towards the piano, hiding between the bench's legs. His black pelt hid him perfectly in the night's shadows, making him appear almost invisible.
Almost.
His large silver eyes and his silver markings shimmered in the moon's light as he moved around the living room of the feli house; tell truth, Spectre could not sleep. He'd had a nightmare about wall monsters eating him up and had decided that for his own safety (and that of all the feli in the house!) he had to make sure there were no such things lurking around. Thus was the reason he was currently lurking (much like a monster would've) around the darkened house. The moonlight, shimmering through the windows of the large room, was the only real source of light, and as Spectre moved, he felt very brave indeed! Almost like one of those TV heroes, he thought to himself as he gulped and pressed himself against a piano leg, peering around it.
The place seemed... safe enough. Seemed being the keyword, but of course, Spectre could not put his guard down! Wall monsters could come an get him if he faltered. nodding to himself, he swished his tail and peered around the room again.

Poor timid Spectre wasn't the only black feli in the living room. On the other side of the room, hardly aware of Spectre's presence, Kucho lay resting against a wall, gazeing sleepily up at a window. He had no silver markings to give him away, only the lighter shades of red, so he might have gone unnoticed until he breathed out sharply and his wings fluttered a bit. The moon could be seen from the window, and he had spent most of the night sitting and staring at it, slipping into a light sleep off and on. He never slept very well, waking up after merely a few minutes slumber. But the moon, when it was full, seemed to soothe him a bit. It's soft glow reacting similar to a child's night light. He didnt notice Spectre, or perhaps he did, and just didnt want to reveal his presence to the more silvery male. Eitherway, he remained still after the slight fluttering.

Now, had Spectre noticed the other feli within the room, there was no doubt he'd have made a hasty retreat, probably hyperventilating along the way, however... as things were, the silvery feli completely missed the other's presence.
He was, after all, far too occupied being proud of himself for once; not only had he entered the room all by himself, but he was INSPECTING it for wall monsters, for others' sake! He was quite the brave lion, he decided with a nod as he finally let go of the piano leg and slowly moved through the shadows of the room. The moon though silvery beautiful, did not create much light to be seen, and thus was why after a few more paces... Spectre tripped and bumped head first into something warm. Whimpering pathetically, he reached with a paw and rubbed his forehead, cracking an eye open to get glance around the room again.
Silver hued eyes focused suddenly upon a glare of red where his paw was placed; it was fur he was touching. And it was warm. He'd bumped/fallen on top of someone. Instantly the dark feli (whom had ... very little 'dark' attitude to him in the least) gasped, tried to get off, and in the process fell over poor Kucho even more. By now, Spectre was hyperventilating, his eyes opened up huge; oh my GOD! IT WAS A WALL MONSTER! THERE WAS NO DOUBT!! And it was going to EAT HIM.
