Get a Krispy Kreme giftcard for Christmas.
Let it sit in your wallet for... 7 months.
Go to Krispy Kreme and order donuts.
Try and pay with the giftcard.
Wonder what's going on when the cashier takes the giftcard to the back of the store for 5 minutes.
Rejoice when cashier comes back and tells you that your dozen donuts will be free of charge since their computer is down and it can't handle giftcards at the moment and even if it did they so rarely use giftcards... (they just sorta trail off there...)
Go home with free donuts.
Listen and laugh while Dad jokingly suggests pinging to death the KK network so their computers go down next time KKDs are craved.
Now you know how to get free KKDs.
