I cannot believe that i forgot to make a thread about this band. Undoubtably, my favorite funeral doom band, and i would say even my favorite doom band.

When listening to Ahab, one gets a feeling of being at sea on a rickety ship, having montrous waves crashing all around you.

At times you may see/read me refrence to colors when describing music. The metal color that Ahab gives off is undeniably blue- deep sea blue. Listen to Ahab and you will know what i am talking about.

I have been waiting for another release for a while. And i havent heard much on Midnattsol either- their other project with Liv Kirstine's little sister Carmen.

It's just interesting to me to see a great funeral doom band come from a folky gothic metal band.

Yup, Midnattsol, i think Midnattsol came before Ahab but i could be wrong.
