This is probably a dumb question, but is there a girl version for Harvest Moon for DS?

I don't know if I should get the guy one if there isn't ('cause I'd prefer to play as a girl), wait 'til the Harvest Moon for Wii comes out, or just buy More Friends of Mineral Town (I played Friends of Mineral Town so I don't know if getting More Friends of Mineral Town is such a good idea).

Any suggestions?

HMDS 2 is coming out in November. In that game, you choose your gender. I don't think the English HMDS: Cute release date has been announced yet.
