It's been a while since I've had time to post.. but I have some good stories that you guys might get a kick out of ^^
first is a story about my cow... still a calf.. but my cow... no laughing.. I love her to pieces ^^ .. her name is Twinkle ... and could you believe within five days after she was born, she knew me and she knew her name ^^ now that she is out in the pasture, I went down to the fence yesterday and she came right over after I called her (but she had to munch on the way to me) and she still loves eating right out of my hand
There's another calf named Tomater, Mater for short ... and you know how calves kinda hop up on each other to play? and then they eventually grow out of it... but anyway ... Mater thinks I'm such a good friend, because he would always leap up like that and I don't remember how many times he almost knocked me right over.. good thing he's only small now and they grow out of it... otherwise it would be troublesome lol
All the calves are so adorable... you would never believe that someone could think a cow is cute... but they are ^^
And lastly... the last cat at the barn is pretty much my best friend ^^ she had a litter of kittens on the night of my graduation, last saturday, the 23.. she had four... but when I went down yesterday, there were only three of them left, but they are as cute as can be and good ole Moma Kitty is taken good care of her little babies.. I'm just waiting for their eyes to open so I can play with them, and give them names and train them ... it's kinda funny.. I used to think she was a really wild cat, but she turned out to love me... she must really remember when she was a younger cat.. her sister (before she got tramped.. beautiful cat.. I miss that cat.. anyway) I used to pet both of them all the time.. and would call "here kitty kitty kitty" when I would go down to feed them... don't ever tell someone that animals forget things easily.. because it was years before I went down to the barn and she was alright with me when I saw her... she's such a nice kitty.. but she usually doesn't let other people around her, she's strange.. but she loves me so I don't mind... as long as I can have more barn kitties I'll be really happy
with my calf and the kittens... it's about the only thing keeping me happy right now ^^ thank goodness for animals ^^

wow, no one wanted to read that.. anyway...
those three kittens.. one that we named Peaches, one I named Simba (was black and grey stripped with orange through his fur with an orange forehead, an orange nose orange on his paws and orange on his little cheeks)
All three killed, and the Momma Kitty has a sore paw.. all caused by a Raccoon and its little ones... now I like animals don't get me wrong, but this isn't the first year that Raccoons killed the kittens that I loved ever so dearly, but this time, they hurt my little barn cat
now I know people are going to say it's wrong (if they read it) but I'm not the only one that wants the raccoons around the barn dead, infact my gramp has set up a couple traps to catch the (insert foul language here) ... no more future loved barn cats of mine are going to be killed by raccoons and my gramp and me are going to make sure of it!
