I've been at this a while.....perhaps too long:
Guitars:
Epiphone Les Paul; Modded with Dimarzio Evo2 (Bridge) and Air Norton (neck) pickups, medium EB Stainless Steel strings; .11 -.49 gauge. This was the first guitar that made me want to play everyday. I've tweaked and tweaked this one to play and sound as expressive as I am with it, and it's my go-to guitar for heavy chunky rhythms and wildly dynamic leads.
Ibanez JS-100; Modded with Original Floyd Rose Trem, Dimarzio Breed Bridge and PAF Pro (neck) pickups, Light EB Stainless Steel strings - .10-.46 gauge. My JS was a spur of the moment buy that I have no regrets about. It gives me single coil options and expressiveness that contrasts the Les Paul's bassier sound. For a sexy spank rhythm it's the best choice for me.
Larrivee L-03R (R for Rosewood back and sides); My baby acoustic. John Pearse medium light Bluegrass phosphor bronze strings, .12-.54 gauge. I'd long wanted an acoustic, but never quite justified owning a 2000$ martin or taylor. I had some hesitations about the sound of them as well; It was too ordinary. The Larrivee line was finally introduced in my area and it's the best sounding acoustic I've played. I've had a few that were close, but just not all there.
Amp:
Peavey XXL 212 combo. 100 watt beast with 9 different voicings, each with the Peavey character. From a Clean combo to a classic 30 to a 5150 all in one amp.
Pedals:
Boss DS-1. I've recently discovered that I love this pedal. It's got such a vibrant tone control on it that I can lightly OD an amp and turn around and drive it to the nuts. Great little rig for 60 bucks or so.
Ibanez Chorus pedal - This baby's a bit vintage and doesn't see a whole lot of use.
Dunlop Crybaby Wah C-circuit model - 1979-81 vintage build. Great sounding pedal that will see much more use now that the pot is clean.
Microphones:
Shure Beta 57 - The PERFECT microphone for any guitar amp. It's voiced in just such a way that it highlights the best features of any amp tone. It's also an Exceptional vocal mic for live situations.
Audio Technica 3035 - Very nice large diaphragm condenser mic. Works well on amps, but really shines with vocals. Adds a touch of warmth that sounds good on female voices.
I use all this in conjunction with a plethora of plug-ins and effects built into Cubase SX3; my sequencing software.

where do we go? the distance of our travels confuse me...
Guitars: Washburn Lyon series Strat ( pickups reverse wound for a hotter sound, also in need of new string saddles and nut)
Dean Michael Schenker V
Washburn Lyon Series acoustic ( medium guage strings)
Squier affinity series P-bass ( trying to get rid of for a new guitar)
Amps:
Fender 15w G-Dec Modeling Amp Krankenstein Head and Cab ( not mine, but i do use it for gigs, in the rare instance i get one these days)
Pedals
Boss Distortion ( broken) Washburn chorus Washburn Wah
picks ( random assortment, usually gator grip 1.00)
I'm also looking for a marshall full stack and a Dean Razorback ML soon. It's okay. Just hold my hand... and i swear everything will be all right...
