i hate where people are asking for like -500g+ that the item is worth, people should rang 300g from the value...

I just look at it as a waste of my time.
In fact, I generally find the exchange disappointing. In most cases I stop bidding long before anyone else, and someone will almost certainly bid the item to within 100g of the current market price.

I can't get more than 23k in the exchange for a O_O brown paper bag. People were offering stuff like "2 scythes and 2k" and i said. NO the bags are worth more than twice that much and I at least want to cut my losses at 40k. so it's a good thing someone was smart enough in the M.P. to take it at that.

The exchange is completely destroyed by new exchangers. Nothing can be bought for a deal like it's supposed to be. The wanted section? Take it out already, no one uses it. I'm honestly sick of it and have not been exchanging nearly as often.

I mean, please. It wouldn't be so bad if they followed the guides and learned from their mistakes. Is it happening? No, you might as well check out the MP for mis prices which are impossible to get now too.

the gaia economy is crashing because its becoming to popular and soon everything is going to be worth nothing the the great depression. think about next monthes items. they are going to be worthless..(if every one buys one)

you know we should create a guide for the exchange and put a link to it in all our sigs, so we can educate the n00bs, and so our economy won't crash.
also, i don't think collectibles will go down, with more users, there will be more people who will buy, but also more people who won't, i don't buy them under fear that my mom will yell at me, and i'm sure there's lots of younger kids and some older who think that too

The problem isn't that new exchangers joining in, its that there are to many people buying in the exchanging, and not enough people selling well exchanged items. So all of the buyers are crowding around one seller and to get a good price is nearly impossible because there is always somebody in line who is desperate enough to make a profit or to get the item for less that they will be up to 200-100g to the item.
As for the letters, they are going to continue to be purchased the way they have been I think, because there is 3 items in the letter a lot more people are willing to part with $2.50, and even more people are joining gaia so its not like gaia is not growing bigger xD I think more people are buying for the simple reason of selling the item to buy other items... which is why the prices are going so low.
But in reality the prices ARE not low, because 2 years ago you couldn't sell a new letter for 5k, which is why I am not complaining about the re-sell value of letters.
