What program are you useing? Do you have a tablet or mouse? What quality are you saveing it in?

I use paint (hehe), I have a mouse

You can paint pretty well in paint with a mouse although it isn't the most recomendable. You just have to spend a lot of time getting used to it. Make sure you have a high enough resolution picture as well so you can zoom in and add a lot of detail. If you want another program to paint with, I'd recomend Photoshop. They have several versions of the program (I use Photoshop 7) but they have 2 newer ones, Photoshop CS and Photoshop CS2. Unfortunately it is pretty expensive.
