Deidre smoothed down a few picnic blankets and looked around. The sun was shining and fluffy white clouds sailed through the air. It was gorgeous outside! A symmetrical, lovely day. Behind her, Comet huffed as he dragged along a grill. "I don't see why... I have to drag... a grill half a mile... for a picnic!" he said. "I'm sweating! This is going to RUIN my image." Deidre sighed. Go swimming then. Isn't wet supposed to look cool or something...?" "That's my girl!" Comet exclaimed, rushing into the water. "Yeah, I can say I fell in while I was distracted thinking about their beauty..." Sable came up behind Deidre and looked at the blankets. "Are those off my bed?" he asked despondently. "Yeah, they are, aren't they?" Pounting, he set down the bag of games and sports equipment he'd been lugging along. "I don't see why we couldn't have used Orca's..." he grumbled. "Because we don't know where they've been." said Deidre. Orca did scientific experiments on everything. The last thing Deidre wanted was evil blankets trying to eat picnickers. "Well, what about Dad's?" asked Sable. "Same." she said quickly. She had NO desire of knowing where her father's sheets had been. She lay down and looked up at the sky as presently a sopping wet Comet Bond began to grill food.
