I would like to question the sub-forum rules, as we are told we cannot describe an idea or opinion as 'Satanic'. Yet, if you have read the Satanic Bible, many people may express such opinions. As such, are these opinions not 'Satanic'? The only reason I can understand for this is that the majority of people here are not well-read enough to have braved LaVey's work and see it in simple terms as 'bad' and 'evil', rather than accepting its standing as a philosophical work, albeit tinged with ritualisation and blasphemy.

The rules are really more to keep people from labeling non-Satanic religions/sects (i.e. anyone who would be offended by the adjective being applied to their faith) as 'Satanic'. If a group describes itself as 'Satanic', though, feel free to use their terminology.

the organized philosophy known as 'satanism' is satanic in name only, so calling it thus would just mean that you are wrong, not breaking any rules.
