Tuba Christmas..? This may sound really stupid.. but.. wtf?

its a christmas concert where a bunch of tuba's come together and play christmas songs and stuff i dont know all about it but thats about the gist of it

More specifically, it's a gathering of a family, young and old, new and veteran, Tuba players of all kinds come together under the banner of Christmas to play for the enjoyment of playing, and also for anyone who might happen to be listening

I participated in 7th. Needless to say, I sucked

Now that some years have gone by, I am going to participate again. It's really quite fun =D

yeah this is a little late, but i just joined. but anyways, i participated in the tuba christmas in anaheim and got a racorded world record! 627 players baby!! (there was one in the past that said they were the largest but they had no proof) unfortunately, the sousas were put in the back and my group was in the very back (like we were the last people in the mob) i stood on a chair to see the conductor, not like it mattered.

I didn't paticipate in "TUBA CHRSTMAS", but i did do Brassmas, which is like tuba xmas, but with all brass instuments. its the only one of its kind, anywhere! Its held in Raleigh, NC, every year. lol but, while i'm at it, TUBA PRIDE!!!!

OMG!!! I played there too! I was a sousaphone in the back against the wall. Yeah I'll be there again!
