*Kyla scratches the guy with the fox ears across the face and runs off before anyone can follow her. She races into the forest. She just keeps running until she drops down onto her knees, out of breath*
DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN!!! crying I hate it here?! Why am I so confused! Why is everyone so cruel! Why can't people just smile and be kind to each other! Why...why was I all alone back there and why can't I...remember...
*She curls into a ball and weeps*

*Slowly, Kyla stands and wipes the tears from her eyes. She then notices that she is actually standing near a very large and brightly lit mansion. Many people seem to be entering the mansion, some people are even standing on the roof. It appears to be some kind of party. Kyla clenches her fists, and then, as if silently deciding something. She approaches the building and walks inside*
***At this point, the memories end and Kold is ejected from the book***

Kyla_Ewens *The scene shifts to Kyla wearing a bright green dress, standing in a crowded room with various chattering girls wearing next to nothing* Omigod I hope I get a cute master!Me 2! I hope he's like...super hawt!Eeee! I hope they pick me!*Suddenly Kyla is standing on a large stage wearing shackles while an auctioneer prompts the audience. The crowd shouts out bids. Kyla's eyes are down towards the ground, her face is dark and sad. Eventually, a man with fox ears and a gauntlet bids highest and steps forward, removing Kyla's shackles* Aww c'mon babe! I won ya fair and square. Can't you at least give me a smile for all that gold I just spent?*Kyla shakes. Tiny damp spots appear on the ground, indicating that she is crying*
*Kold recalls the time when he told Kyla that she didn't know what suffering was. He understands Kyla a little better now*
