Not sure my favorite genre fits into the categories you listed above. I really like anime series that exhibit a lot of social commentary. For example one of my favorites Serial Experiment Lain which I could classify as pyschological sci-fi comments on teenagers in Japan, the advances in technology and what does it mean to exist. All very interesting subjects. Boogie Pop Phantom another favorite is of a similar rare genre that comments on teen behavior, social deviance, crime, etc. Maybe I just like to read into things. I made the realization recently that all forms of media I enjoy ie books, films, tv shows, anime, art etc include heavy elements of social commentary. I guess I just like people expressing their opinions on life, society and the government. Damn the Man!

magical girl and ninja...I'm so wierd...action/adeventure as well...but I don't really like sci-fi stuff....plz don't hate me for that...I don't like the ideas of big robots and all...
