I haven't really got any ideas of plot as of yet, but after re-reading all of FFS, I'm really gagging to do a fan comic series based on it. At the moment, it may be a preqeul or sequel (I'll need to know the whole plot for II and III first though, if this the case) or maybe even a side story. I'm thinking of using the most-deserving members of the DGComiX Guild in what is to be called "Final Fantasy Sonic: Gaia Force" or something...
But ofcourse I'll need permission and help from Mir and Squeaks...
What do you think? FFS (and EC) are taking their time to update, this could be a filler to keep fans happy while you sort out what's going on with your parts of FFS.

It's up to David. I doubt he'll reveal the plots for FFS II and III, though.

Yeah, I was thinking that.
What about this for a BASIC idea - The comic takes place during the original FFS with Miriam and a band of misfits (The Gaia Force) as the main characters. We could have them as an AVALANCHE-esque resistance group, or maybe a group after glory and gold, stealing rare objects and the like...
