I wish there were more examples rather than that one picture where they're basically just wearing a brand dress and carrying a parasol.
But I think it can work, I dunno about other kinds of Gyaru but I definitely see Himegyaru with Lolita.

Seraphynthetic Alright, it looks like we have a picture of what might be a Gyaru Loli. I've had too different people send me the same image, so let's assume for a while that this is what a Gal Loli is.  that's himegyaru. more examples can be found in this blog: http://blog.himeka-shirosaki.com/

While I was researching this I came across that often times in order to afford their expensive habits that they'd take paid dates. the exact image a lolita would not want to portray. plus it's a very high maintenance (bitchy) persona where I really don't think a lolita wants that image either. Both are dedicated fashions that dictate lifestyles. I think that if you just liked the fashions and didn't really read into what the personalities are like then you'd have a pretty wardrobe. himegyaru is like hime lolita without all the strict victorian guidelines but a more western attitude.

Yup. And most westerners are... x_x Blegh. They carry the b***h attitude everywhere. Especially over here in NYC? You can easily tell the difference between someone who isn't a b***h and ignore you, and those who would stop by and listen.

Just to look at their clothing...they look like just normal Lolita...but then they do have that Gal type makeup...(it is more toned down...but still there)...
but if infact they do have bad attitudes..i could most likely pick them out right away if i were in public and saw them...>.>
