Well I really like Deidara and Sasori, yet I am more interested in the Leader and Unknown Member.

Well it is yet to be determined that it was really Orochimaru and Zetsu were paired together, all though it is probably most likely they have never stated it so until they do it is purely fan speculation. However we do know Orochimaru and Sasori were paired together for a while. mrgreen

Orochimaru left Akatsuki around the same time he failed to take Itachi's body for his own. And that is simply the reason, the one he wanted was too strong for him so thanks to Itachi teaching Orochimaru a thing or two about real power, he tucked his tail between his legs and left the organization.
