soumakisa × oh yeah.. another point to add... sometimes the Singaporeans think im not local and ask where do i come from? sweatdrop
they would mistaken me for being a Chinese Malaysian, Chinese Indonesian, China girl, Japanese, etc.
No idea why... confused
Aye.. and it's my own people... gonk I mean if it's a white.. maybe I can excuse them.. since most of them can't really recognise the Asian races.. X3
lol.. so maybe in the Singaporean eyes.. I'm not that Singaporean.. sweatdrop
heh! YES YES! sometimes my friends are more tanned, i think they are chinese-malay. but thta's what i like about singapore. we're rojak family eh? don't worry, no matter how un-singapore you look, you'll still be a part of s'pore eh. dang. i look 100% chinese, and what comes out of my mouth is... ah lian hokkien. D: dang, i always get scolded because my accent is too chao lian-ish. but then my english is ok; so is my chinese. all that have problem is my HOKKIEN. so i'm banned to speak it. D:<

I've completely lost my good Chinese. Chinese was my first language and now I can't even have a good conversation with random people anymore.

all that matters is that you find true friends. They wouldn't care what nationality that you are forn or how bad you spoke their language. A good friend would help you speak more fluently and would invite you to go to places and such. i live in america and to me if you live in america as well i would consider you american. recently i asked a chinese girl out a couple of times but i don't think she understood me crying so now over the summer i'm trying to learn as much chinese as i can possibly cram into my head. I do realize that she'll probably barely understand me but a true friend wouldn't care.
