Hi. Well my Mum drinks, to me she drinks too much but I'm not really sure anymore. She's cut down compared to what she used to, but it still scares me a lot. I don't drink but I can tell when she has been and sometimes she hides it and it's really stupid of me to be upset about it but I am. I can't go another year like this. This night I took the bottle off her till my sis was asleep then gave it back and she went out and bought more when she was already drunk. She's almost died from drink driving. And myself well I've been ina pretty bad way before I came to know God. I wasn't into drugs or drinking or anyhting but I was and still am pretty messed up. I don't want her drinking the way she is and getting so angry at us all the time. I love my mum really and I'm scared of her right now.
So, please if you have any advice pm me or post it.I can't take this anymore
God Bless. Night

Find someone to help, a grandparent, friend, uncle, aunt. Heck anyone! I might seem mean saying it, but find someone who can convince her to cut it out, or someone else to live with. Sometimes there isn't anything you can do.

If it's as bad as i think it is, you may have to resort to an interventionist, someone who can help you and your family talk to her, and if she wants to, send her to rehab.

She doesn't drink every night she drinks a lot when she's with her bf and her firends which is most nights I guess. I'm not sure how bad it is though. I mean how much is an average adult meant to drink?
