"..." Kain paused for a moment. "Miles has left us, I'm willing to bet he found a way out, and left us to follow." Kain, shot a smile her way. "Spiffy, eh? Station is only a few blocks away, you want to go there first or hunt down the others?" Kain said walking away, "Stay close, I don't need you getting lost, we are stronger as a group that singled out." Kain peered his furry head around the corner and rounded it rather quickly, he didn't have much to worry about but enough so that he had to stay cautious. He felt unprotected right now, he was almost defensless, He nickname in Fruitport was Lord of Blade, he always had a knife on him, were as the name didn't carry over to Ludington, he remained to always have a knife on him.

And now he didn't feel as whole.

Kain walked forward, he spaced for a moment, thinking back to the real world. And how his life was crumbling right before him, he thought back to Miles, and how the first thing he did was sock him in the gut, he'd do almost anything to take it back and see face again, he shook his head and looked around, he saw a large pillar the was glowing a green aura, it was a map showing him where everything was in this town. Kain smile and saw the "Your Here." Dot on the map. They were within a few blocks of the Station Square, and a place to spent the night. "Well if anything, they'd be in Station Square like you said. So Let us look there first and if all else fails, we can just find a place to stay."

Kain wasn't worry, but was at the same time. He let out a small sigh, "Ok." He said turning around. A roar covered the sky, it must of been late, the patrol was doing their job, "Come now we mustn't find trouble this early. Let find a place." He said as he turned and headed toward the square. He spoke only loud enough for her to hear:

"If in case we do get into trouble, run. I will find you, remember just jumping on top of these won't make them crash and burn like in the game. You run and I will stall for your escape." His words were serious, straightforward and bold.

His strategy in gaming won't work any more that it would in chess, and as Miles could a test to, he wasn't good in the least bit, but his brute strength and cunning ability to put forth his all even though the odds are against him should let him prevail. It'd take them anywhere from a 1/2 hour to an hour to an hour to right the Square, they might had to stay in some place abandon for the night.

Kain made a fist, his stomach churned as it always did when danger was stalking. He swallowed, his mouth dry, and his heart sinking. Kain was always prideful never backed down from a fight, even when the odds were against him. But that always came with precautions, he always had to swallow his pride, and use his reflexes to there advantage, which sometime worked badly for all involved.

A gurgling sounded from the sewer grates, Kain stepped backward, as the a clear being slowly came into sight, this thing was fast, his eyes could hardly keep up with its speed, he sallowed as his felt the on his back. But no sooner was his down he was back up and staring at the clear monstrosity. Kain caught his breath only for a moment before his reflexes kicked in his dove at Christie, knocking them both the ground, they had just narrowly miss the monster.

"Run! Now!" He said as he stood back up, pain wasn't the problem here at this moment, his adrenaline had kicked in, so that was covered.

Kain braced for impacts, and the monster tried to knock him back again, his bent his legs and started to push back.

"It isn't going to listen," Kain said as he broke apart the grapple and thrust his shoulder and the majority of his weight to his right arm, but he miss and phased through the Chaos, he slammed against the ground. He was soon to scrambled to his feet, chaos was now behind him. The monster had him in Full Nelson, his arms were useless, he through himself backward. There was a large crack, Chaos had dislocated his arm. Pain swarmed his left arm as he kicked the Chaos to the ground.

Kain back up for a moment as Chaos arose to its full status, and towered over Kain, who was out of breath. "How ... many times.. do I have ...ta...tell you to run?" Kain questioned. As he blindly through himself at chaos into another grapple. Rage flowed as red static cracked as Kain was knocked down. He slowly was brought to his feet. I'm not going to give up... Kain thought as he slammed his shoulder back into socket. A howl sounded from the muzzle, that made chaos step back. He took up his fighting stance, and braced.

Kain wasn't about to give up anytime soon. Blood was streaming down the fur on his arm and chest, his arm hurt, but right now, taking down this menace was his only priority. This was so much more than some game you and restart because you lost, you could die here and never make it back.

Thought raced through his head, so many things left behind...

All because of you... Kain thought as his sprinted at the God.

Kain jumped and spun his foot to make contact the God's face, but to no avail. His foot instead slammed against the ground and then through a thrust of his arm toward the clear being. Kain made contact and then backed up to wait for Chaos to make a move.

Chaos was ungodly fast, Kain flinched as he was taken into another hold and was thrown into the dirt, he was soon to cough, spit and blood flood from his mouth as he slowly came to his stance once more. Kain was breathing heavily now, he wiped his muzzle and licked his lips. And braced once more.

Kain was getting his fill of pain, but he prosued onward. He gripped his hand to his fist, he was blinded by fury.

Chaos relized this before Kain. Chaos wasn't the only on furious here, fires and explosion errupted behind the two, red spark crackled as the Kain braced himself once more, this time he pushed back with all of his strength, Chaos dug its feet in and left trenches as it vanished and Kain fell forward and fell to the ground once more.

Kain slowly came to his feet, as was just knocked over once more.

I can do this, Kain said as he grabbed Chaos' "Leg" and flung Chaos to the ground.
