Sat June 23 9:18 pm local time Okay, I'm kinda new here, and this player who seemed to know what he was doing was helping me out a bit in one of the dungeons in the Dante server. He was kind of a weird guy, and I kept getting the feeling that he was making fun of me almost every time I said anything, but y'know, it wasn't really an obvious thing, and he was helping me level up, right?
But then, just as we were about to go back to Moraven, the guy PK's me! What the hell was up with that? Almost three hours of work down the drain. I mean, I understand I'm an easy target for PKing, but the way he did it was like getting salt rubbed into the wounds--and then he harassed me about... well, about not doing so hot in law school, just before the game over screen came up. I didn't even tell him I was attending a university--was he hacking my computer, too? I don't remember his name, really--think it was something like Deuces. Should I report this to the admins or something?

Second, while PKing isn't against the rules (even though most Servers look down on it), there's still repercussions for attacking newer players like that. Whenever a PC is killed, the Server gets sent a report, so Dante should already know. I'd suggest going to him anyway though, to explain your case--he'll know what happened, but not why.
Man, Kitsune's going to throw a fit when she gets back...

Posted by: Persephone Sun June 24 12:54 pm local time Yeah, Celestial has it right. I'm not sure about the hacking side of things--I'd suggest getting your computer checked out, and if it is being hacked, report to the admins.
Also, if you'd like to get those levels back, I'd like to offer my help. I'm a high-level Artillerist who's admittedly a PK (might as well be honest), but I only target other higher-level players and my challengers.
