Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the best anime series and manga series that I have ever seen. Does anyone else like it? It really takes my interest because it can pull at so many emotions and it's very interesting.

Pardon me for the necropost, but I recently have dispute with a friend.
Question, was the Al in the armor the same human Al?
I assumed that the skull dude was lying to mess around with him, but a friend of mine recently pointed out that he told the truth and mentioned how Al had no memories of certain things. Which did make me think twice. Neither of us are sure though.
